It’s a tradition that comes close to the famous Tulips from Amsterdam , the Dutch flowers every year on Vatican-Square on the Easter-Mis. The flowers are a gift of the Dutch Flower-Industry. The Dutch florist Charles van der Voort is responsable for this floral-tribute , every year he and his team of flower-arrangers make their way to Rome. Also every year the Pope thanks Holland for their floral-contribution to brighten and color-up the easter celebration. Floral-designer Charles van der Voort is completely free in his way of decorating the square and hasn’t any restrictions. In 2011 he used a lot of Magnolia but this year a lot of the famous Dutch Roses Avalanche+ where used.
